White, pink and brown:
what is the difference?
White noise spreads energy evenly across a broad frequency range. Pink noise puts less emphasis on higher frequencies, while brown noise has a stronger low-frequency presence. If bright sounds feel harsh, try brown noise at a low volume first.
Compare in the mixer ↗Build a focus routine,
25 minutes at a time.
Pick one task, reduce notifications and start the timer. After 25 minutes, take a five-minute break with the sound paused. If background sound distracts you, a quiet environment is a good choice too. Everyone responds differently.
Start a focus session ↗Sound masking:
does it remove noise?
Masking adds background sound so voices and other distractions may stand out less. It does not remove the original noise and works differently from noise-cancelling headphones. Keep alarms and other sounds you need to hear audible.

Do I need an account or subscription?
The current SoundFit features are free to use with no account required. Save my mix keeps your sound and timer settings in this browser. Settings do not sync between devices.
Do 432 Hz or 528 Hz have special healing effects?
SoundFit does not claim healing benefits from specific frequencies. The sound lab lets you explore pitch and waveform differences. It does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment.
Will sound keep playing when I lock my phone?
Your mobile operating system or browser may pause playback when the screen is locked or the page is in the background. You must press Play sound to start playback. Check how it works on your device before a longer session.
How is the sound generated, and what is stored?
Sound is generated in your browser using the Web Audio API. No audio files are streamed and your microphone is not used. Saving a mix stores volume, mixer, frequency and timer settings in this browser’s localStorage. Clearing site data removes those settings. The hosting server may keep standard access logs. Google and third-party advertising providers may use cookies when serving ads. For details, see the Privacy Policy.
